About this Product

Our essential oil shower steamers are individually hand-molded using high-quality ingredients and therapeutic-grade oils. They provide the aromatherapy benefits of essential oils while creating a spa-like environment in your shower.

Caution: Do not place in bathwater or rub on skin. Please wash hands after handling.

These steamers CANNOT be used like bath bombs in your bath water, as the menthol crystals (which help carry the fragrance of the essential oils to the steam of the shower) can irritate the skin.

Directions: Remove the steamer from packaging. Place it in a corner of your shower floor, on a ledge, or hang it in a bag on the shower head so that it gets damp but remains out of direct contact with the water stream. The shower mist will activate the fizzing action, releasing menthol and essential oil scents to create a spa-like atmosphere.

Making our essential oil shower steamers by hand involves several careful steps to ensure the highest quality and effectiveness. Here’s an overview of the process:

Ingredient Selection: We begin by sourcing high-quality ingredients, including therapeutic-grade essential oils and menthol crystals. Each component is chosen for its aroma and therapeutic properties to enhance your shower experience.
Mixing the Dry Ingredients: The dry ingredients, including baking soda, citric acid, and cornstarch, are measured and thoroughly mixed in a large bowl. This blend forms the base of the steamer and helps create the fizzing action when exposed to moisture.
Incorporating Essential Oils: Once the dry ingredients are combined, we carefully add the selected essential oils. This step is crucial as it determines the scent profile of the steamers. The oils are mixed in thoroughly to ensure an even distribution throughout the mixture.
Adding Moisture: To activate the fizzing reaction when the steamers are used, a small amount of water is introduced. This is done gradually to prevent the mixture from becoming too wet. The right balance is essential to ensure the steamers hold their shape and function effectively.
